Though that being said, I do use the one at the gym, but not the slide scale in the locker room--that one is off by at least 2-3 lbs (in my favor, by the way, thus trying to avoid it because I'd prefer an accurate reading). We have a nice one that does body fat composition, muscle mass analysis and BMI. I use that one about once a month or every two months to track my overall progress. It's pretty cool to see how much muscle mass I have in my entire body and each of my appendages and my trunk. I've kept all my little slips that it prints in my wallet as a reminder of how far I've come. If you ever want to stop by when I'm working and do a body comp, feel free! <br /><br />And thanks SOOO much for coming to my tri! They don't know what it means yet (they are 1&2) but they know that mama weighs every morning. I'm hoping to show them that it is part of being accountable for your eating but am also worried that it will send a negative message. IDK if I could throw my scale away though! I fall victim to that same thing to - I s...Oh wow. I fall victim to that same thing to - I still jump on at the gym or my one at home - and it can make me feel great or like crap. I never thought of what kind of message it could send to a kiddo. Even though I don't have my own, there are little girls in the gym locker room, etc. Wow.
